Love should never hurt.

But when it does, adults, children and youth in St. Clair County, Michigan, can turn to Blue Water Safe Horizons.

Blue Water Safe Horizons is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit agency that provides both emergency shelter and non-residential counseling and advocacy services.

The mission of Blue Water Safe Horizons is to increase awareness of intimate-partner and sexual violence and its effect on the community, to empower those victimized by providing advocacy and safe and effective services, and to work for social change through education and community collaboration.

BWSH offers more than just keeping survivors safe. Other services provided include individual counseling, advocacy, support groups, and referrals to other services.

In our ideal world, no one would ever need our services. Therefore, we work to bring about social change through education and community collaboration with other nonprofits in the Blue Water Area of Michigan.
