A portion of our service provision is supported by Grant No. 2015-VA-GX-0044, awarded to Blue Water Safe Horizons by the Michigan Crime Victim Services Commission. The agreement award of $95,000 (80% of the project) comes from the Federal Crime Victims Fund, established by the Victims of Crime Act of 1984 administered by the Office of Victims of Crime, Office of Justice Programs, U.S. Department of Justice. Blue Water Safe Horizons provides the required match valued at $23,750, by the use of volunteers (155 volunteer hours) or the St. Clair County Commission on Aging.
